This year’s Hackfest, nicknamed “Ressurection”, was the
14th edition of the conference. It was a great opportunity (for me at least) to
reconnect with old colleagues I had not seen since 2020 and to meet new poeple.

This post is a partial writeup of the challenges I’ve had the time to solve
as part of the Beginner CTF.

Cloning Disks And Mounting Disk Images With Debian

Disks can be cloned (byte for byte copy) to other disks or to files (image
files) with many tools.

I prefer using the basic tools because they just work very well. Nothing beats
the simplicity of some of the basic tools available out of the box with most
GNU/Linux distributions.

Greetings and welcome to my site.

I wanted to try the Hugo static site generator for some
time. It is very pleasant to use and I will be migrating some of the content
that I have laying around from various places to this site.

Maybe you will find something here that is interesting.

Greetings and welcome to my site. As the subtitle says, it is about technology and potentially other things. As a disclaimer to the readers, I am a big fan of science fiction. Novels from Douglas Adams have always been among my favourite.
I currently live on the surface of planet Earth, quite possibly somewhere within the North American continent. I have been using (and breaking) computers since the mid 90s. At a young age, I was using the MS-DOS operating system and I have ruined many disk partitions.
